education

Our Education Department offers lively but focussed outdoor education in a safe and dynamic environment. Our site and Education Officer are accredited by the Countryside and Environmental Visit Accreditation Scheme (CEVAS) and we have also been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge (LOtC).  Our educational visits are primarily aimed at Early Years, Foundation, KS1 and KS2 but we are always happy to try and tailor a visit to meet your needs.

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, from 10.00am until 4.30pm (4.00pm in the winter). With over 100 animals for your group to meet and a range of areas available for your use, a visit to Gorse Hill City Farm is the perfect way to learn about farming and the countryside and can be linked to the National Curriculum in many ways.
